QR code generator for real estate projects, brochures and hoardings

Create QR codes for project pages, WhatsApp chats, contact cards and plain text. Pick colours and size, download PNG for screens or SVG for print. Generated in your browser, no sign-up.

Project microsite, brochure PDF, Google Maps pin or a form.

Colours
Keep dark on light — inverted codes fail on many phones.

1024px prints cleanly up to A4; use 2048+ for hoardings.

Codes are generated in your browser; nothing you type is sent to us. Before printing, scan the PNG from the screen with two different phones: a code that works on the artwork file and fails on the hoarding is almost always a contrast or size problem.

Where QR codes earn their place in real estate marketing

  • Site hoardings and road signage — a WhatsApp code with "Hi, I saw the hoarding at Hinjewadi" pre-filled turns drive-past interest into a chat.
  • Printed brochures and newspaper ads — link to the project page, the walkthrough video or a price-on-request form.
  • Sample flat and site office — a code at the exit to the cost sheet or the booking form, and one on the desk to the RM's contact card.
  • Channel partner kits — a code per partner so you know which CP's collateral a buyer scanned.
  • Broker business cards — a vCard code with the RERA registration number saves the buyer typing and satisfies the disclosure requirement at the same time.

Getting a code that scans

Contrast

Dark modules on a light background. Gold-on-cream looks on-brand and fails on half the phones at a site. If the brand needs colour, colour the foreground and leave the background white.

Size and distance

Codes should be roughly one-tenth the scanning distance across. A brochure code scanned from 30 cm can be 3 cm; a hoarding scanned from a car needs 50 cm or more, and a short link so the code stays simple.

Quiet zone and error correction

Keep a clear margin of at least four modules around the code — the generator adds it. Use the M level for clean print and H if a logo or a lamination will sit over the code.

Track it

Add UTM parameters to website links, or a distinct pre-filled message to WhatsApp links, per placement. The point of a code on a hoarding is to know that the hoarding worked.

One tap to a conversation

The best destination for an outdoor code is a WhatsApp chat. A buyer who scans and sends the pre-filled message is a lead with a number, a location and a timestamp, before anyone has filled in a form. If that chat lands in a system that tells your presales team who to call first, so much the better.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is this QR code generator free and do the codes expire?

Free, no sign-up, and the codes never expire. They are static codes generated in your browser that encode the link or text directly, so they keep working as long as whatever they point to exists.

What size should a QR code be on a hoarding?

A rule of thumb is one-tenth of the scanning distance: a code meant to be scanned from 3 metres should be at least 30 cm wide. Download the SVG for print so it scales without losing sharpness, and keep a quiet white margin around it.

Can I put a logo on the QR code?

Yes, if you choose the H (30%) error-correction level and keep the logo under about a fifth of the code's area, centred. Test with two different phones before printing.

Which is better for a site hoarding: a website link or a WhatsApp link?

WhatsApp. A wa.me link with a pre-filled message opens a chat in one tap, and the message tells you which hoarding the lead scanned. A website link sends the buyer into a page where most of them leave without giving a number.

Do you store the links or contact details I enter?

No. The code is generated in your browser with a JavaScript library; nothing is sent to our servers.
